General Information: 



Biography


Carole d’Inverno grew up in Italy and Belgium and moved to the United States in 1979. She now resides in Seattle.
Her paintings have been exhibited in solo and group shows in galleries throughout the United States and her work is in the public collections of Seattle Group Health and the Seattle University.
Carole d’Inverno is the recipient of numerous awards and honors. Most notably in 2002, she was awarded Best of Show in the Richland City Arts Competition, juried by Debra Byrne, former Director of Curatorial Affairs and Exhibitions at the Frye Art Museum in Seattle, Washington. She is the recipient of the 1998 Jurors Choice Award in the Northwest Fine Arts Competition, juried by Peggy Weiss, former Director of Art programs for Bank of America.
In 2009, she will be in residence at the Vermont Studio Center and the Wassard Elia Center in Ascea, Italy and will be attending the 2009 Biennale di Firenze.
